Low coolant or air in the cooling system. Low coolant level or air in the cooling
Cold air (not warm) coming through the vents when the heater is on. Coolant leakage visible inside the cabin or a damp smell. Can a blown fuse cause heater not to work? Yes modern cars have switch that controls the water flow to the vents inside the car. Blown fuse will prevent it from opening and will cause a car heater not to work.
Today whilst driving without the A/C on, or the auto on, just manual settings, I seemed to have a problem with the heater/ ventilation. Just using manual control, I had no warmth in the air unless I turned it up to nearly 26 degrees. Anything below this caused condensation on the outside of the windscreen as we travelled along.

I just replaced my coolant pump and thermostat in my E92 BMW 320 N43 engine. It is a 4 cylinder variant. The procedure is the same as the written guide but most of the work can be done from the engine bay as 4cyl variants engine block is shorter.Only the two E12 bolt of the pump had to be unscrew from the bottom of the car.
