Getting VR working for ETS2 (on the Quest 2 at least) involves many not-so-fun steps, including repeatedly putting on the headset and taking it off (especially when going between menus and the driver's seat), and the end result is noticeably low resolution and stuttery compared to the desktop version. 1. Install SteamVR and SteamVR for Windows Mixed Reality. 2. Install the Oculus beta (right-click ETS2 in the Steam client->Properties->Betas tab, then select the Oculus/Vive beta) 3. Add "-openvr" (without quotes) to the ETS2 launch options (right-click ETS2 in the Steam client->Properties->General tab->Set Launch Options) Then when you launch I'm sure you've tried everything, but just for reference here is what works for me: Connect Rift (hdmi and usb) - Oculus app auto opens in Windows. Launch Steam. Go to my library and launch ETS2 (I don't start steamVR at all, just launch it like any non-vr game) I select the 'Play Euro Truck Simulator 2 (64 bit)' option. VR is janky. ETS 2's implementation of VR is janky. Using a Quest 2 to play PCVR games is janky. Using Virtual Desktop to play PCVR games wirelessly is janky. You're dealing with so many layers of jank that I don't know if any of my advice is relevant or will make a difference. When playing ETS2 in vr load up to profile screen then the mouse freezes unable to get any pass this screen yes done all the steam settings of late steam beta controller. If you run it on flat screen no problems it's just VR all drivers are up to date using a reverb G2 I9 intel RTX3070 32gb of memory also happens with ATS even got a new mouse(£47) Razer anyone any help Hey, sadly my VR is not working in this game. I disabled the theatre mode, added "-oculus" to the start parameters, installed the latest VR beta and set "uset o_oculus_mirror_mode" to 1 in the config file. Pressing F11 ingame only brings up some coordinate menu but does not switch me into the VR mode. I connect my headset via Virtual Desktop and then start SteamVR. Too directly answer you, steams users are higher than that, also, this is a DRIVING SIMULATOR and VR HEADSETS add immersion onto the "SIMULATION" and such, so they'd be fantastic.. the VR BETA version is already working perfectly as it is, there's no reason too not just throw it in, a damn developer update and feedback on why it's not already Поддержать канал XeZqX.
